Purpose of Meeting
Connecting Local Labor Struggles With Migrant Justice & Upstate Anti-Fascists
A presentation about the challenges that farmworkers are facing in the dairy industry. Will address how the community has been coming together to organize and address those issues as well as how supporters can get involved and support. Attendees will be engaged by hearing directly from farmworker community leaders and through photos to illustrate the conversation material. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to support and stand alongside farmworkers in their struggle for access to human rights and dignity, and how to get involved themselves in labor solidarity.
