Program Description

Event Details

Repair Cafe's provide community members with a free alternative to throwing away their broken household and treasured items. These interactive events provide an opportunity to save money, reduce waste, and connect with other community members.

Our volunteer repair coaches will be on hand to try and fix a variety of items such as small appliances, lamps, small pieces of furniture, bicycles, clothing, electronics, and more! We also are seeking a few volunteers who would like to help on the day of the event.

What We Plan to Fix!

This list represents some of the repair skills we hope to recruit for each CafĂ©:
- Lamps
- Clothes
- Toys
- Tools
- Furniture
- Bicycles
- Vacuum Cleaners
- Small appliances
- Tools that need sharpening

-And More!

Prior to arriving, please consider the following to increase the chances if a successful repair:

  1. Check your items batteries first
  2. Bring your items chargers and accessories
  3. Bring replacement parts if you know what you need

For more information or to volunteer, please contact Sharon by email at glensfallsrepairs@gmail.com or call her at 518-792-6508 x267.
