Plan to attend all 6 classes!
Six week introduction to American Sign Language (ASL) class. This program will focus on approximately 20-30 words and phrases centering on feeling and emotions as well as small conversations when meeting a new person. Fingerspelling practice, activities and ASL games will also be included. Discussion on Deaf Culture and ASL grammar will occur. Participants should plan to attend all six classes and have an email address to communicate with the instructor outside of class time. The first class will include an interpreter and all following classes are ASL only.
