Purpose of Meeting

Join us for a free film screening of Separated: Children at the Border and a powerful afternoon of awareness and action. This PBS documentary explores the 2016 "Zero Tolerance" immigration policy and trauma that families suffered as children were separated from their parents at the border.

As immigration enforcement intensifies, families may be left without income by the deportation of the primary wage earner. Children must be protected if both parents are taken, or if they are unaccompanied at the border.

  • Hear from local immigrant advocates

Organized by Adirondack Regional Immigration Collaborative (ARIC), a local 501c3 organization serving as a hub and enabling multiple nonprofits, churches, and civic organizations from Saratoga to Plattsburgh to work in concert for immigration support. ARIC maintains an emergency fund (AEF) to assist families with emergency needs. Contact aric4northcountry@gmail.com with questions.
