The Folklife Center at Crandall Public Library presents the premiere for Local Solutions in the Champlain Adirondack Biosphere, a video documentary series filmed and produced by the Folklife Center. Begun in 2024, the series begins to provide an intimate look at the positive activities that move us towards a more sustainable future in our regional biosphere. Several independent filmmakers lent their vision to individual topics. Each episode is very different, and about 15 minutes in length. The Folklife Center see this series as an ongoing project, with plans to add to it annually. Our hopes are to help contribute to a deeper understanding of our region, with a more complicated, grassroots sense of place.
