Joyful Journeys with the Council for Prevention

Join educators from the Council for Prevention for stories, crafts, and activities to promote social emotional learning for your young child!  For kids infant-early elementary and their caregivers.  Drop in, no sign up required.

At the Council we provide prevention education to students K-12 throughout Warren & Washington Counties aiming to address substance use prevalence and mental health concerns among our youth. Our goal is to reduce harm within our communities and there is no better prevention education than starting with our littlest and their adult(s)! By joining us for Joyful Journeys you will build knowledge and confidence in best supporting your child(ren), create similar language being used around social emotional learning at home, school, and within the community, and also find fun creative ways to build healthy coping skills, strong bonds (for both child & adult), and meaningful communication that will impact your child as they grow lasting into adulthood.
