This spring, to celebrate The Big Read, Crandall Public Library will be creating a Community Nature Journal. This fun and creative journal will provide an opportunity for Community members to create their own nature scene, nature collage or it can be text based like a nature poem or short story, to add to this journal. Any media is welcomed such as, chalk, watercolor, paint, pencil etc. In this program we will provide several examples and materials to use to create your own addition. Works can be 9x12 or smaller. You may also bring in completed nature based works as well.

Hope to see you there, registration is required. Materials and snacks provided. Must be 18 years or older.

Join us in reading The Big Read selection, Fuzz: When Nature Breaks the Law by Mary Roach, and then participate in programs that revolve around the theme of Our Nature: How our physical environment can lead us to seek hope, courage, and connection.

NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
