Teen Owl Pellet Art

Meet in the Teen Center to dissect barn owl pellets! Attendees will look for recognizable material such as fur and bones, then use small mammal skeleton charts to identify the individual bones and possibly determine the species present in the pellet. Once the bones are clean, attendees can optionally mount them in a shadow box as a reassembled scientific specimen or in an artful arrangement.
