The Graphic Novel Book Club is an ongoing monthly group where we will read and discuss a graphic novel and then do an art project or activity relating to the book.

Join our monthly Art Appreciation Discussion Group! Art Talk is a welcoming space to explore different artists, movements, or themes the second Tuesday of every month.

Where I Became weaves the stories of 14 South African women who, though hailing from diverse backgrounds, all grew up under the oppressive system of Apartheid.

How it works: 

Start an early love of reading with our baby story time!  Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and play time.  Enjoy a special time with your baby and connect with other caregivers.

Meet in the Teen Center to play or learn dueling card games (like Magic the Gathering or Pokemon), classic card games (like Spit or Spoons), and tabletop games (like Blood on the Clocktower or Clue).

Join us for our weekly after school group for kids in grades 4-6, featuring various activities, games, and/or crafts chosen by the group. To be held in the Children's Activity Rooms or outside in the park if weather permits.

This is a special session of the reoccurring Creative Writing Workshop, that will focus again on Novel Writing. Back by popular demand, instructor Elaine Handley, will teach participants the art of Novel Writing.

Children in Kindergarten and up are invited to come practice reading skills with Abby, a certified therapy dog.  Kids will choose a book and read to the dog one-on-one during a 15 minute time slot.  Abby is a great listener!  Please

Doyle Irish Stick Fighting is a two-handed martial art developed well over 200 years ago by the Doyle family in Ireland, and brought to Canada in the early 19th century. 

Hudson River Ceili performs traditional Irish and Celtic style music and dance. The group especially enjoys high energy dance tunes from Irish, Quebecois and New England traditions.
