Children in Kindergarten and up are invited to come practice reading skills with Beatrix, a certified therapy dog.  Kids will choose a book and read to the dog one-on-one during a 15 minute time slot.  Beatrix is a great listener! 

Join us for our weekly after school group for kids ages 8-12, featuring various activities, games, and/or crafts chosen by the group. To be held in the Children's Activity Rooms or City Park if weather allows.

Join us in the Teen Center for a night of Perler Bead (also known as fuse bead) art. Plan your own designs or follow a template to make an arrangement of tiny beads on a spiked tray.

Monthly Bluegrass Music Jam hosted by Denise Radtke and Frank Orsini, first Thursdays (through April 2026), 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Library's Community Room downstairs off the Folklife Gallery. All are welcome, pickers and listeners alike.

Meet in the Teen Center to socialize and make a personalized keychain using a lobster clip and various art supplies.
