In this two-part class, kids will learn to play the fun and easy lap dulcimer from award-winning musician, Dan Duggan (with an assist from the Folklife Center's Kevin Rogan and Miss Emma from the Children's Department).

This free, 5-part ukulele class is for kids ages 7-12! Instruments provided. Must be able to attend all 5 sessions: June 30th, July 14th, July 28th, August 11th, and August 24th. Please email Emma (erogan@sals.edu) to sign your child up.

Join Miss Emma and Mister Kevin for a morning of singing, dancing and shaking your sillies out! Miss Emma and Mister Kevin will play some of their favorite songs for kids on their ukuleles.

The ever-popular, free Bluegrass Music Jam hosted by Denise Radtke & Frank Orsini meets monthly on the 1st Thursday of the month, September through April, that is Sept 5, Oct 3, Nov 7, Dec 5 (2024), Jan 2, Feb 6, March 6, April 3 (2025), 6:30

The Graphic Novel Book Club is an ongoing monthly group where we will read and discuss a graphic novel and then do an art project or activity relating to the book. Each month features a different graphic novel chosen by the group to read.
