Crandall Sustainability Initiative Team Meeting

New to Canva? Join us for a beginner-friendly series where you’ll learn to create eye-catching graphics using easy drag-and-drop tools. We’ll meet for four Thursdays in February. Basic computer skills are required.

Children in Kindergarten and up are invited to come practice reading skills with Beatrix, a certified therapy dog.  Kids will choose a book and read to the dog one-on-one during a 15 minute time slot.  Beatrix is a great listener! 

Join us for our weekly after school group for kids in grades 4-6, featuring various activities, games, and/or crafts chosen by the group. To be held in the Children's Activity Rooms or outside in the park if weather permits.

It's an old fashioned Saturday morning on Thursday night! We're eating sugary cereals and playing all your old board games: Battleship, Guess Who, Jenga, Connect 4, and more. 

Monthly Bluegrass Music Jam hosted by Denise Radtke and Frank Orsini, first Thursdays (through April 2026), 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Library's Community Room downstairs off the Folklife Gallery. All are welcome, pickers and listeners alike.

Join us for a fun Valentine’s craft session! Kids will create their own handmade Valentine’s cards for friends and family using paper, stickers, and lots of heart-filled creativity.

This introduction to using a computer will cover basic vocabulary, using a mouse and keyboard, searching the internet, creating an email account,  and creating and saving documents. 

Kids in grades K-6 are invited to join us for our weekly free art program.  Enjoy a different open-ended art project each week featuring a variety of art styles and materials.  No sign up required
