This October, celebrate Fire Safety Month with us in the City Park! Kids will have the chance to meet our local firefighters, hear about the important work they do, and learn safety tips that can help keep the whole family safe.

This month, instead of our regular homeschool hangout, join us in City Park for a special Fire Safety Month program!

Children in Kindergarten and up are invited to come practice reading skills with Oakley, a certified therapy dog.  Kids will choose a book and read to the dog one-on-one during a 15 minute time slot.  Oakley is a great listener!  Pl

Start an early love of reading with our baby story time!  Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and play time.  Enjoy a special time with your baby and connect with other caregivers.

Kids in grades K-6 are invited to join us for our weekly free art program.  Enjoy a different open-ended art project each week featuring a variety of art styles and materials.  No sign up required.  

Learn photography from professional photographers and exhibit your photos in the Library's Folklife Gallery. Canon t6i digital cameras are provided for this free program. For kids in grades 5-7.

Sean Gaskell will perform and provide an educational demonstration featuring the instrument. He plays songs on the kora- a 21 stringed West African harp.

Join us for our weekly after school group for kids in grades 4-6, featuring various activities, games, and/or crafts chosen by the group. To be held in the Children's Activity Rooms or outside in the park if weather permits.

Here is your opportunity to learn a new language! This monthly series, for kids in grades K-6, will introduce them to American Sign Language. This month will feature basic signs and bingo. Registration required.
