Enter the time of the Revolutionary War! This program is based on the book Revolutionary War on Wednesday by Mary Pope Osborne. After you register, come to the children's reference desk to pick up your own copy of the book to keep.

Today's Bonus Topic: Advanced Hoopla

Teens ages 13-19 will adventure as birds and other woodland critters in this 5th edition D&D module from the Humblewood campaign setting.

In this two-part class, kids will learn to play the fun and easy lap dulcimer from award-winning musician, Dan Duggan (with an assist from the Folklife Center's Kevin Rogan and Miss Emma from the Children's Department).

Preschoolers can stretch, move, and relax in this fun and engaging Preschool Yoga session! Designed for ages 3-5, this class combines simple yoga poses, breathing exercises, and gentle music to encourage movement, mindfulness, and creativity.

Participants will journey through water cycle and explore watersheds.  Hands-on activities of a watershed model will show the sources and effects of water pollution.

Doyle Irish Stick Fighting, with Whisky Stick Faction Coaches John Borter and Trish Chiovari, is a two-handed martial art developed well over 200 years ago by the Doyle family in Ireland, and brought to Canada in the early 19th century.

Children in Kindergarten and up are invited to come practice reading skills with Beatrix, a certified therapy dog.  Kids will choose a book and read to the dog one-on-one during a 15 minute time slot.  Beatrix is a great listener!

Join us for our weekly after school group for kids in grades 4-6, featuring various activities, games, and/or crafts chosen by the group. To be held in the Children's Activity Rooms or outside in the park if weather permits.

Join us for a relaxed and enjoyable evening in the park! We're hosting a fun-filled gathering featuring classic lawn games such as cornhole, badminton, and bocce.

Participants will learn about color theory through mixing colors and creating a color wheel with three paint colors (cyan, magenta, and yellow).

Graphic Novel Book Discussion: Join us for a discussion of the graphic novel A Guest in the House.

It's taco night! Meet in the Teen Center to craft a single-serve taco in Doritos bag. If the weather is nice, we'll take our tacos for a walk around the block so we can take a look at some of downtown Glens Falls' signature murals.
