Families with children birth to age 3 are invited to join us for stories, songs, fingerplays, and more. We'll be outdoors in City Park, so please dress for the weather and bring a blanket or towel to sit on.  

There are many different ways to be creative. Children entering grades 1st-6th will experience four unique art experiences.

Alyx is a comedy magician who has appeared on Penn & Teller, News 10 ABC and the CW. She will offer a fun-filled, interactive magic show that will provide plenty of laughs for the whole family.

Children in Kindergarten and up are invited to come practice reading skills with Abby, a certified therapy dog.  Kids will choose a book and read to the dog one-on-one during a 15 minute time slot.  Abby is a great listener!  Please

In this two-part class, kids will learn to play the fun and easy lap dulcimer from award-winning musician, Dan Duggan (with an assist from the Folklife Center's Kevin Rogan and Miss Emma from the Children's Department).

Bring your favorites doll (American Girl or other) to create  a button, make an outfit, create jewelry, make your own trail mix, and decorate a mini tote bag! Sign up required. Adults do not need to register.

Start an early love of reading with our baby story time!  Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and play time.  Enjoy a special time with your baby and connect with other caregivers.

Tweens ages 8-13 will learn to play Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition over the course of six weeks.

Kids in grades K-6 are invited to join us for our weekly free art program.  Enjoy a different open-ended art project each week featuring a variety of art styles and materials.  No sign up required.

Join us for our weekly after school group for kids in grades 4-6, featuring various activities, games, and/or crafts chosen by the group. To be held in the Children's Activity Rooms or outside in the park if weather permits.
